2) What is your hashtag range?

This is the key of getting more out of your hashtags than before. A lot of people create hashtags that are way out of their range. This means they have almost no reach through their hashtags. How can you find out your range? It is easy. You post a picture and create hashtags. Each hashtag has a reach, which can be discovered when clicking on a hashtag. Some of them have over 1M followers, others have 1-2 thousand.

Now which one is the best one to use?
Depending on your followers you can quickly understand at which range you are at in the moment. After posting your pictures with several hashtags you used, you can click on your hashtags under your picture and see which positioning you got on each hashtag. Meaning: Does your image appear on the top pictures or far at the bottom (or at all).
Quickly you find out the hashtags range that best fits for you, the ones where you appear at the top! This is the main hashtag range you want to use.

3) How many hashtags should I use?

Around 15-30 is a good amount. Now a good mixture of hashtags in your range and some a bit higher will give you a great boost getting discovered through hashtags.
